Decades of years caring for Silver Spring’s kids

The Center was established in 1971 as the result of a proposal by a group of citizens, predominantly from Christ Congregational Church in Silver Spring, to provide quality care for children of all social and cultural backgrounds.

Most of our staff have their 90 Hour MSDE Certificate, Child Development Associates Degree, or CDA, all staff are certified in CPR and First Aid, as well as continuing education courses annually in early childhood education.   – a commitment to our Center that is evidence of how important the care and education of young children is to our staff.
